Kulla Peninsula

Kullabygden has long been a popular and busy tourist destination.

At the beginning of the century there were direct trains from Berlin to Mölle who was famous for it’s outrageous bath for both sexes. The train has stopped but the nice beaches still draw many visitors. Foremost is probably the district known for its pottery and , above all, the dark salt glazed “Höganäs”-jugs. The tradition lives on, and many potters and artists have chosen to settle in the beautiful surroundings.

Many faces of Kullaberg

The one interested in nature are recommended a visit to Kullaberg, farthest out on the tip of the peninsula. Here is Scandinavia's brightest lighthouse and many rare plants and animals.

It it is culture you want, there are the medieval castle Krapperups with art gallery, catering and craft shop.

A famous excursion destination is Nimis and Arx, which is probably the country's most controversial art - two fascinating sculptures that are for show at Kullabergs east side.

Last but not least, Kullabygden is a restaurant district. In the small charming fishing villages along the coast there are lot’s of Inn’s and genuine Scanian restaurants along with one or two fish-curing house.
